For the Adventurous
India Venster
India Venster or “India Window” is a route for the more adventurous hiker (though not limited to). Starting at the lower Cableway station, the trail ascends up the northern face and offers beautiful views of Lion’s Head, Devil’s Peak and the city below. As it winds around the western slopes of the mountain, it also shows off the Twelve Apostles mountain range standing up out of the Atlantic Ocean. The route offers scrambling and some exposure to heights but is manageable with the assistance of our guides. This trip can be completed in a half day to ascend and by making use of the cable car for a quick ride down it provides a full experience of all the Table Mountain National Park has to offer.
