Fynbos Footprints is an owner operated hiking and adventure company based in Cape Town, South Africa. We specialise in small group private hikes on Table Mountain and beyond.
A bit about our lead guide, Henning Burden.
As an avid outdoor adventure enthusiast, I love welcoming new guests to my home here in Cape Town and South Africa. I am passionate about the history of our land and also the natural world as well as ensuring all my guests have the most memorable and safe experience possible.
I am a qualified and registered Mountain and Cultural guide for the Western Cape by trade and have been guiding in the outdoor adventure industry for the last 15 years all over Southern Africa.
On my off days I can be found running and hiking the many beautiful mountain trails this country has to offer. I grew up in the Stellenbosch Cape winelands and know all best kept secrets and hidden gems the Western Cape has to offer. I have also mastered the art of the traditional South African ‘braai’ (barbeque) and enjoy spending time cooking over an open fire for friends and guests under our beautiful African skies.
